The New Covenant

What is the New Covenant?

Heb 8:7  For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion to look for a second.
Heb 8:8  For he finds fault with them when he says: “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,
Heb 8:9  not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt. For they did not continue in my covenant, and so I showed no concern for them, declares the Lord.
Heb 8:10  For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Heb 8:11  And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest.
Heb 8:12  For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.”
Heb 8:13  In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

In the New Covenant, God is the one who writes His laws in our hearts and in our minds, He teaches us, not man. If we enter this covenant we all will know Him, and this is how we know we know Him:

1Jn 2:3  And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments.
1Jn 2:4  Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him

God writes His laws in our hearts and minds and teaches us, when we receive this and obey we come to know Him, we know we know Him because through obeying Him we stop sinning:

1Jn 3:6 Everyone staying in Him does not sin. Everyone sinning has neither seen Him nor known Him.

The results is that God through His Word which is the Sword of the Spirit destroys the enemies work in your life:

1Jn 3:7 Little children, let no one lead you astray. The one doing righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.
1Jn 3:8 The one doing sin is of the devil, because the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of Elohim was manifested: to destroy the works of the devil.

To enter the New Covenant you must repent of you sins and your old ways, come to Jesus, learn from Him, let Him teach you and write His teachings in your heart and obey Him. When you do this you will learn from Him and the very words, the teachings He has given you, His laws will destroy the enemies work in your life, you will stop sinning and begin to live. Those who uphold their end of the New Covenant will cease from sin and learn God's ways. Jesus will teach you His way of life, His culture in His Kingdom, which is not of this world and does not mix with this world.

Most Christians are taught by other people, not God, this is why they still continue to sin, continue to mix with and enjoy the things of this world which defile them. This is why their lives are still focused on the ambitions of this life. This is why they have not given up everything to become a disciple of Jesus. This is why there is so much confusion in Christianity.

Man does not teach man in this New Covenant:

Mat 23:8 “But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi,’ for One is your Teacher, the Messiah, and you are all brothers.

Joh 14:26 “But the Helper, the Set-apart Spirit, whom the Father shall send in My Name, He shall teach you all, and remind you of all that I said to you.

1Jn 2:26 I have written this to you concerning those who lead you astray.
1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which you have received from Him stays in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as the same anointing does teach you concerning all, and is true, and is no falsehood, and even as it has taught you, you stay in Him.

Man is not suppose to teach man in this Covenant. Jesus will gift men with the gift of teaching and pastoring and so on, for the purpose of leading people to learn how to be taught by HIM. The five fold ministry, those who have these gifts and are obedient to Jesus will teach you to go to Jesus, hear His voice and be taught by Him. They will not lead you to themselves, their ministry or anywhere else, they will lead you to be fed by Jesus.

The Laws of the New Covenant are the Teachings of Jesus

2Co 3:3  And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

2Co 3:6  who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

2Co 3:17  Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Joh 12:49 “Because I spoke not from Myself, but the Father who sent Me has given Me a command,1 what I should say and what I should speak.
Joh 12:50 “And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, as the Father has said to Me, so I speak.”

Joh 16:12 “I still have many words to say to you, but you are not able to bear them now.
Joh 16:13 “But when He comes, the Spirit of the Truth, He shall guide you into all the truth. For He shall not speak from Himself, but whatever He hears He shall speak, and He shall announce to you what is to come.
Joh 16:14 “He shall esteem Me, for He shall take of what is Mine and announce it to you.
Joh 16:15 “All that the Father has is Mine. That is why I said that He takes from what is Mine and announces it to you.

It is the Holy Spirit who writes the laws of God in our hearts, Jesus said He is sending the Holy Spirit to teach us all. Jesus Christ the Word of God speaks what He is commanded by the Father and the Spirit speaks what He hears from Jesus. These teachings are the Laws of the New Covenant which set us free from sin, they are the truth that we come to know that makes us free when we obey Jesus (John 8:31-32). These are the laws of liberty. Many still sin because they are not obeying the Laws the Holy Spirit has for them, the teachings of Jesus that is personal to your weaknesses and current battle. Man cannot teach you how to stop sinning and be Holy. Jesus writes these teachings in our hearts and by faith we must obey them, when we obey faithfully we see His results.

Heb 5:9 And having been perfected, He became the Causer of everlasting deliverance to all those obeying Him.

If you want to stop sinning, it is all through hearing and obeying Jesus:

Difference between Old and New Covenant

Many do not actually understand the difference between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant. The difference is more then how the Bible divides the books of the Bible and it is more than the dividing line at the time where Jesus Christ manifested in the flesh, died on the cross, rose again and gave us the Holy Spirit. Understanding the difference may be a matter of salvation to many who currently do not understand.

Beware of anti-christs

Beware of those who are against the Covenant of God, they say they are Christians and do works as if they are Christians but when their fruit is tested, they are curropt and still sinning and in hypocrisy. Many are victims to this apostasy and do not even know.
